Typography guidelines

FOLIO uses Source Sans Pro as its only typeface.

Source Sans Pro is a set of OpenType fonts that support a wide range of languages.

Being open source, numerous updates shall appear to expand glyph set coverage and functionality.

Source Sans Pro has 6 different weights: extra light, light, regular, semibold, bold and dark.

In general, FOLIO uses only two: the regular and semibold weights.

FOLIO uses 3 font sizes: 12px, 14px and 18px.

The default color is black.

Visibility can be set to either 100%, 62% or 30% (only for placeholder).

A different color shall be used for error, warning and success text.

Italics may be used to emphasize certain pieces of information so that users can quickly pick up key elements.
